"Small, motivated implementation team, focus on the important processes, industry-experienced ERP partner", according to Simon Münch (project manager at ABI Beton), these were the key factors for the successful ERP introduction of erpbos from SOFTBAUWARE at ABI Beton. The medium-sized system construction supplier from Andernach gave the PRECAST DAYS participants a deep insight into the start of the ERP project three years ago, the course of the project and further digitalisation milestones in the future. Thanks to the intensive and trusting cooperation, ABI Beton and SOFTBAUWARE were able to bring the ERP solution to live start after nine months ahead of schedule. Since then, ABI Beton has benefited above all from the high degree of integration of erpbos and the associated massive reduction in interfaces. "We offer our customers a broad modular system of cross-industry functionalities, such as document management, business intelligence, personnel time recording and production planning, which go beyond a classic ERP. This means our customers can do without many isolated applications," explained Andreas Hougardy (Managing Director of SOFTBAUWARE). ABI Beton was able to use a further rationalisation potential as a pilot customer through the collaborative cooperation between Schöck and SOFTBAUWARE. Ms Barbian from Schöck presented the first direct connection of a customer ERP to Schöck's ordering system to the participants. Through the direct communication of both systems, both ABI Beton and Schöck benefit from simplified, digital communication and the reduction of incorrect orders. The guests of the event were able to gain further digitalisation impulses for the concrete industry through presentations by the Progress Group on the "Graphical Performance Analyzer" and the "Checker" by Beamionic. A special highlight of the event was also the plant tour through the new circulation system (PROGRESS GROUP) at ABI Beton's Andernach location.
