Time cards, time clocks, time sheets: there are many ways to record employees' working hours. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Different time models can be mapped in the system to reflect the time constraints of the various types of employment and company divisions and to ensure compliance with employee protection measures. If required, individual working time regulations can be defined for each person. However, if break and rest times are exceeded between two shifts, this is reported to supervisors or the HR department. Employees can book their coming and going, break times and shifts at terminals or on the PC. Even vacations can be recorded in this way and approved or rejected by supervisors in the ERP. Vacation planning can also be carried out via the system. This also has the advantage that everyone can access the upcoming vacation times. In this way, bottlenecks can be avoided, which can quickly occur if there is no overview of the vacation days taken. In the vacation overview, supervisors can see already approved absences in their department and can then constructively evaluate incoming vacation requests. The PZE data can also be used for scheduling assembly teams.

Smooth transition
As the PZE application is intended as an extension of Softbauware's ERP software, customers benefit in particular from the networking of the individual departments. PZE time cards can be created within the system with a single click and passed on to the payroll department. This means that the payroll department is only responsible for posting wages. This speeds up the transfer of information and reduces errors caused by lost, printed timesheets or even manually managed lists. Another advantage of the full integration of PZE data in the ERP is the added value for the calculation of operating costs, as the data flows directly into the actual cost calculation. During the setup of the system, Softbauware follows every step closely and ensures the seamless transfer of all employee data. Thanks to the clear structure and low-threshold design of the system, little training is required in advance. If the PZE application from Softbauware replaces an existing program, there is no documentation downtime: The application can be set up within a very short time. To ensure that the system runs smoothly when it is put into operation and is perfectly tailored to the customer, employee workshops on the operation of the applications precede its use. These also include sample bookings, on the basis of which Softbauware employees can identify and solve potential problems with data entry in advance. The transition is carried out smoothly during ongoing operations.
